The COROS VERTIX 2 carabiner (second generation) is a redesigned and improved carabiner for carrying the COROS VERTIX 2, for example, while climbing or hiking. The ideal solution if you want to wear your watch attached to a backpack or harness - off your wrist. This will protect your watch from scratches. GPS activity recording continues even while wearing the watch in the carabiner. Use an external chest strap to record your heart rate while wearing the watch in the carabiner.
The carabiner is not UIAA certified and is not intended for climbing; wearing a watch in this carabiner is not suitable for performing and recording movement - e.g. cadence metrics, recording jumping rope or recording strength exercises (push-ups, pull-ups, etc.); GPS activity recording works without problems even when the watch is inserted into the carabiner.
