Legal guarantee
At least 2 years on new goods
New goods come with a legal guarantee of at least 2 years from the day you receive them. The seller is liable for any defect that the goods already had on receipt and that becomes apparent during this period – for example, if the goods do not match their description or do not work as they should.
If your claim is justified, you are entitled to a free repair or a free replacement, and in some cases to a price reduction or a full refund. For used goods, the guarantee period is 1 year.
2 years for business purchases too
The 2-year guarantee applies equally when you buy as a company, with the same rights as when you buy for yourself.
