Although COROS only entered the GPS market in 2018, its arrival on the scene has caused quite a stir in the sports community. The Apex model won the hearts of elite ultra runners such as Tim Tollefson and Hayden Hawks in 2018, who used it at the legendary UTMB in Chamonix.

Ralph Ambassador Jakub Šiarnik , representative of the Slovak Republic in ski mountaineering: When it comes to equipment in the mountains, I look for lightness and precision. For me, the COROS GPS watch is the embodiment of this need of mine. I can fully trust it. I have not had to deal with complications such as an empty battery, a cracked glass, or distorted GPS data in more than a year of intensive use. With the combination of the best available ratio of robustness, battery life, and weight, I hardly notice anything about the watch. I only charge the battery once in a while. Even on the toughest training camps, where I squeeze the watch through various additional gadgets to the max, the battery does not charge more often than once a week. In my usual mode, it is even twice as often. The low weight does not bother me on my hand and I only look at the watch when I want to correlate my feelings with precise load indicators such as heart rate, vertical speed, or oxygen saturation. A gentle warning when deviating from the set route or its profile are also a desirable sensation for my one hundred percent focus on what I'm doing. I don't usually analyze performance in the field... it would contradict my philosophy of focusing on the given moment. The space for evaluation occurs at home. The clear app shows important metrics and provides lightning-fast synchronization with other services for training analysis. However, if it's useful, for example during intervals, I can also view split times during the activity. COROS is simply a TOP product for me that works fully with me.
