1. The world's first GPS watch with Dual-Frequency Satellite Systems technology

COROS Vertix 2 is the world's first GPS watch equipped with an All-satellite Dual-frequency GNSS chipset.

COROS Vertix 2 can communicate with the major satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and Beidou) in two concurrent frequencies (L1 + L5 - explained below) simultaneously. After activating the "All Systems + Dual FREQ On" mode in the watch menu, GPS signal reception will be significantly improved between tall buildings, under treetops in forests or, for example, in rocky gorges. Typically, these are sore spots and scenarios where all GPS watches hit the limits of the current GPS system.

The L5 frequency (1176 MHz) is broadcast in a radio band reserved exclusively for aviation safety services. This standard offers higher performance, greater bandwidth and advanced signal architecture. In addition to its use in aviation, the L5 frequency will now provide users around the world with the most advanced civilian GPS signal. The COROS Vertix 2 is the world's first GPS watch with the ability to communicate on the L5 frequency.

2. Incredible battery life. Again!

Thanks to a new, larger battery, the COROS Vertix 2 offers more than twice the battery life in GPS mode compared to the Vertix 1. And the Vertix 1 held the lead in battery life on the GPS watch market. COROS Vertix 2 battery life in numbers:

3. Global offline maps

At launch, the COROS Vertix 2 is the only GPS watch to offer global offline mapping, including the following layers: Landscape, Topo and Hybrid. The COROS Vertix 2 comes with a complete global offline map. Additionally, users will be able to download a free Topo map of the desired region from COROS.com.

Zooming in on the map using the Digital Crown or finger gestures on the highly responsive touchscreen offers the best navigation experience on your wrist.

4. Extreme durability

The Coros Vertix 1 is undoubtedly a very durable GPS watch for mountain adventures. However, the second generation takes durability to a whole new level. The COROS Vertix 2 is made of premium materials, including sapphire glass with a special DLC (Diamond Like Coating) treatment. The new titanium bezel around the display of the COROS Vertix 2 is 3x more scratch resistant than the Vertix 1.

5. New, extremely powerful processor and huge memory storage

The new generation processor in the COROS Vertix 2 is 20% more powerful than the Vertix 1. This allows for very fast, almost instant interaction with the watch. The COROS Vertix 2 is equipped with a huge built-in storage - up to 32 GB - for storing content such as music, maps, routes, activity data. These parameters also provide more than enough reserve for future software updates.

6. The largest display on a COROS GPS watch yet

The COROS Vertix 2 has a 1.4-inch display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels. This is a 16% higher resolution than the Vertix 1. These parameters allow you to display more information on the display and at the same time in a clearer way. The COROS Vertix 2 also supports up to eight data fields on one page of the display. (Previously, it was "only" 6 data fields.)

7. Completely redesigned user interface

The new user interface combined with the intuitive Digital Crown only enhances the simple and intuitive operation that COROS GPS watches are known for. 8. Wrist ECG

The built-in electrocardiogram allows you to measure brand new and interesting metrics. Measure your heart rate variability (HRV) on the watch anytime and accurately, to better understand how your recovery is going after exercise. The optical heart rate sensor is also brand new and more accurate.

9. Listening to music via Bluetooth

COROS Vertix 2 offers listening to music through wireless headphones - conveniently and easily. And in the future, interesting audio functions for athletes are prepared.

10. Wi-Fi
